Brand Refresh

As a longstanding client of our firm, Toyota entrusted our design team with their brand when they were confronted with the need for an employer brand refresh. The assets they had been using for years were outdated, and they were looking for something fresh and inspiring to attract top-level talent. Although office life isn’t always glamorous, the values and mission of the company is typically part of the allure to apply for a job.

The concept I presented is people-focused, and emphasizes the outstanding employee culture that Toyota has cultivated. I introduced a system of shapes and colors to represent the company’s many positive attributes, and used these elements to illustrate these values in a compelling way. Language and imagery are also a driving factor in this concept, as a way to enhance the seemingly ordinary office-life experience.
